578 Carrall St, Vancouver, BC V6B 5K2, Canada

Description:

Sun Yat-sen Chinese Garden is an example of a classic Chinese garden. This is a place where you can work productively and have a great rest.

The garden was built over a period of one year (1985-1986) and dedicated to the most revered Chinese revolutionary, Sun Yat-sen. Chinese materials were used to build the garden and Canadians and 52 Chinese craftsmen were involved. The uniqueness of the buildings of the garden is that glue, nails or screws were not used for construction. The Chinese garden, made in the style of the Ming dynasty, is based on the principles of Yin and Yang.

The territory of the garden covers an area of 0.16 hectares. In addition to a variety of vegetation and cute buildings, there are small shops where souvenirs of China are presented.

On April 24, 1986, the garden was opened to the public.
