Mount Seymour Regional Park

Mount Seymour Road, Vancouver, Canada

Description:

Mount Seymour Regional Park has an area of 35 square kilometers.

It was created in 1936 and occupies a vast mountainous area, which is replete with famous mountains, one of which gave the name to the entire park. It is also home to many beautiful lakes, including Lake Isley and Goldie, which drain to the east. Another part of the reservoirs - lakes and ponds - has a runoff to the western part and feeds the Seymour River.

Tourists visiting the park ride mountain bikes here, engage in hiking, and also make horseback riding, for which special trails are provided. Loved these places and lovers of winter sports: climbers, skiers and fans of snowboards, snowshoe and sleigh. The mountain ski runs are operated by Mount Seymour Resorts Ltd.

However, for lovers of silence, this park is not too suitable - due to the proximity of a densely populated area, it is always very noisy and crowded.
