The Marin Building is one of the tallest and oldest skyscrapers in Vancouver, which has long become a recognizable symbol of this city.
The Marin skyscraper was inaugurated in 1930, and at that time it was the tallest building not only in the city, but in the whole of Canada. The beautiful twenty-storey skyscraper was built in the Art Deco style, and on top of the building, the architects placed an observation deck, from which you could see the whole of Vancouver and its surroundings. With a height of about one hundred meters, the skyscraper held the title of the tallest building in Vancouver for almost ten years.
Nowadays, the impressive appearance of the Marin Building is well known to all film lovers - this skyscraper often flashes in Hollywood films and is used as scenery for the shooting of television shows and TV series. The building attracts the eyes of many tourists and is considered one of the most famous attractions of Vancouver.
