The stadium was built in 1951 and was called Capilano Stadium. But in 1978, the stadium was renamed after restaurateur Bailey, who contributed to the development of baseball in Vancouver.
The stadium is located in the eastern part of the picturesque Queen Elizabeth Park in the vicinity of Vancouver. It is designed for 5,157 fans.
