Taita Hills National Park

Taita Hills Private Reserve was founded in 1972 by the Hilton hotel chain. It is home to the Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge and the Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge. These are comfortable huts, standing on tall stilts, the guests of which can witness an amazing sight - African animals come to the local lake, beautifully lit in the dark.

Taita consists of three mountain ranges: Dabida, Sagala and Kashigau. The landscape is complemented by the magnificent lakes Jepe and Chala, filled with melt water of the snows of Mount Kilimanjaro. Several species of African violets grow here and colorful birds fly.
