Lake Bogoria National Reserve

Kenya, Rift Valley.

Description:

In the heart of the Kenyan National Reserve is the salty Lake Bogoria. It is quite shallow, but, nevertheless, attracts a variety of animals and birds, including flamingos. Boringo became famous for its hot springs and geysers, and the territory of the reserve - the largest population of antelope Big Kudu. They were on the verge of extinction, but in recent years their number has increased significantly in the reserve of Lake Bogoria. These are graceful animals with beautiful big horns twisted in a spiral.

In addition to them, you can see baboons, buffalo, gazelles and zebras here. Of the birds, the most common are sparrows, vultures and larks. Even here nests the bird of prey of the osprey, which because of the small number of fish began to hunt flamingos.

The easiest way to get to the shores of Boringo is to sign up for a safari.
