Nairobi National Park

Description:

Nairobi National Park in Kenya is a corner of wildlife. It was created to protect wild animals from hunters and poachers, who in the first half of the twentieth century began to come to Kenya in order to kill a large beast for their collection. Among these hunters were former US President Roosevelt and the Prince of Wales.

Now visitors to this place can observe the course of life of wild animals in their natural habitat. Rare black rhinos live in the park, they were transported here from other places to save from poachers. In addition to rhinos, lions, leopards, hyenas, ostriches, zebras, antelopes walk in these territories, and crocodiles live in the southern part.

On the territory of Nairobi there is an educational Center for Wildlife Conservation of the park, where you can listen to lectures on wildlife and go on an excursion to the animal shelter, as well as go for a safari walk.
