Finikoudes Beach

Athenon, Larnaca, Cyprus 60 mZ

Description:

Phoenix Beach is located in the central part of the city of Larnaca. The length of the sand spit is only 500 meters, the width in some places barely reaches 100 meters. The sand is large, beautiful, gray, due to its volcanic origin. The water along the beach is clear. No stones, fine enough. Ideal option for rest with children. If you like to dive, you should choose another beach.

It was named after a palm alley planted in 1922. Well-maintained and clean, awarded the Blue Flag. You can rent sun loungers and umbrellas, on the promenade along the beach there are restaurants, bars, live music concerts in the evening.

At the entrance to the beach is a statue of a winged lion with a book. This monument to the city was presented by Venice in 2001 in honor of the fact that the cities became sister cities.

If your hotel is located in the center, it is very easy and fast to reach on foot. From other areas can be reached by car or city bus. The stop is right by the beach.
