Wax Museum in Lefkar

9 Agiou Louka, 7731 Skarinou, Larnaca, Cyprus

About the company:

The Wax Museum in Lefkar is famous for its exhibitions dedicated to the history of Cyprus. Its creator, the Cypriot Pambos Nicolaidis, lived in London for a long time. The famous wax museum in the British capital has become one of his favorite places. As a historian by training, he often said that modern youth are not interested in the history of their own country.

Nicolaidis decided to establish a museum in Cyprus, which, unlike London, will feature exhibitions dedicated exclusively to the history of Cyprus, so exciting and dramatic. And he did it perfectly.

To date, the museum presents about 150 figures, 8 chronological sections, telling about three millennia of the history of this extraordinary island. In the twilight of the museum, the figures are so realistic that sometimes the exhibits cannot be distinguished from admiring tourists.

Expositions dedicated to the history of the island give an opportunity to see some scenes from Cypriot life and get acquainted with famous personalities who played a significant role in the history of Cyprus.
