This tour is created for lovers of hiking, landscape photos, young naturalists and just outdoor activities. We will walk along the northern part of the Akamas Reserve, which is distinguished by impressive views and picturesque lagoons. The reserve we will visit is located on the peninsula of the same name near Paphos, in the west of the island. Following this route, you can see a variety of flora and fauna, beautiful views from the height of the hills, mountain peaks and the sea with crystal clear water.
What we'll see and do:
A walking route along one of the most picturesque natural trails of Cyprus. We will begin the journey from the “Bather of Aphrodite” and climb to an altitude of 400 meters above sea level, where the entire peninsula will be visible as in the palm of your hand: with blooming valleys and coves. Having rested by a 500-year-old oak tree and studied the remains of a medieval monastery, we will continue on the winding and rocky path, descending to the coast.
- After the ascent, we will swim in the protected waters of Akamas in a picturesque lagoon.
- We will finish our trip in the fishing village of Lachi, where in a restaurant with a beautiful view you can enjoy fresh fish and seafood.
