The medieval Limassol Castle is one of the most famous and visited historical sights of the city. The castle is located in the historical center of Limassol, near the old city port, which it was supposed to protect from attacks by invaders from the sea. The history of the castle dates back about eight hundred years, during which it has experienced many destructive but successfully sustained sieges, as well as losing battles, crushing earthquakes and reconstructions. Limassol Castle is a witness to almost the entire history of the city. Inside the castle today there is a medieval museum, which presents a wide exhibition. So in the halls and corridors you can see the impressive weight of armor and armor of medieval knights (among others there are two full armor), a collection of firearms and cold weapons produced in Europe and the Middle East, military paraphernalia. There are also "peaceful" exhibits - objects of worship and household products made of terracotta, metals and ceramics, tools, jewelry and jewelry, a collection of coins, samples of women's and men's clothing, marble furniture. There are also marble and lime frescoes, remains of columns, busts and fragments of architectural elements.

Amathus or Amafunt (Greek Αμαθούς) is one of the oldest cities in Cyprus, located on the southern coast of the island. Amathus, like Paphos, was one of the most important places of worship of Aphrodite in antiquity. The story of Amathus is a mixture of myths and history. The history of the city of Amathus dates back to around 1100 BC. The founder of the city is Kinir, the father of Adonis, who named the city after his late mother Amathus (Amatea). He also created the cult of Aphrodite. In the city in pre-Christian times, a huge temple was built in honor of this goddess.

Cyprus is famous for its unusual corners, visiting which, you seem to get into the Middle Ages. Here ancient monuments of culture and architecture merge into a single composition with modern trends of the tourism industry. Most Cypriot villages have lost their former dense population, but many of them retain their color. We will walk through the narrow cobbled streets of Cypriot villages, look into ancient churches, admire the skill of craftsmen in embroidery and silver.

If we talk about the capital ... the first settlements in the area of modern Nicosia date back to 3900 BC. And in the XI-VII centuries BC. e. on this place flourished the ancient city-state of Ledra (later - Lefcotion), in the III - IV centuries the city, significantly destroyed by earthquakes and raids, lost its former greatness. Today, Ledra is a small village in the suburbs of Nicosia, the central pedestrian street of Nicosia is named after her. The capital of Cyprus, Lefkosia (as the Greeks call it), was made by the Crusaders in the Middle Ages. Today it is a modern city with large shops, offices and avenues, but when you cross the remains of the Venetian defensive walls and get into the “old city”, you feel like the beginning of the 20th century. On the streets still work craft workshops, sell antiques.

We will pass passport control and a short buffer zone and end up in the capital of the Northern Republic of Cyprus. It is home to a third of the population of the self-proclaimed Republic of Northern Cyprus and is home to its government. In the northern part of Nicosia - the administrative, business and commercial center of Northern Cyprus, within the old city surrounded by the Venetian wall, the main historical objects are concentrated: Gothic temples turned into mosques, caravanserai, Turkish bazaar.

Tired of a long and busy day, you will get the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the island. The beach of white stones is one of the amazing places in Cyprus, located 20 km from Limassol towards Larnaca. Beautiful and at the same time unusual place: the pebble beach is located in a natural bay with calm clean water. The beach is surrounded by amazing beauty white chalk cliffs and huge stones. At the end of the trip, we will meet the sunset here, so that it will remain for a long memory of Cyprus.
