Paphos

Walking Adventure (2 Days)

Description:

Cyprus is one of the most suitable countries for tourism in the world. Tourists here love and do everything to make people as much as possible familiar with the many local attractions. Every morning, hundreds of sightseeing buses snorkel between the hotels, gathering the curious, and driving along the planned routes. Such trips are easy and pleasant - the roads are good, the cars are air-conditioned, it would seem, what else to want?

Tourists looking at the world from the window of the bus often do not see the forest behind the trees. They don't see the soul of the island. They cannot fully appreciate its beauty and friendliness of its inhabitants, are deprived of the joy of unexpected discoveries.

Perhaps, when the European Association of Walkers developed the pan-European hiking route E4, starting in Spain and ending in Cyprus, it was referring to another category of people: those who lack contemplation on vacation, who are bored with the benefits of civilization during daily trips from home to work, who do not mind at least for a short time changing the walls of their offices for trekking shoes and backpacks.

The hiking trail passes through the most beautiful places of the island. Rectangular green plates "E4" are found next to all significant attractions. You can even say, without sinning against the truth, that all the sights of Cyprus are within walking distance. The total length of the Cypriot section of the trail is 532 km. Linking the airports of Larnaca and Paphos, it winds around the island, looking at Cape Greco, the Troodos Mountains, the Akamas Peninsula.

For the convenience of passing the track is divided into conditional segments that can be overcome during the day, length from 12 to 35 km. Want to take a walk? Write or call, and I will guide you through the most beautiful parts of this trail or even along the entire route.
