Pissouri Beach

One of the many attractions of Cyprus is the Pissouri beach. It is located in a picturesque area near a small village of the same name. It is a quiet and cozy place with friendly locals. The village is cozy located among the hilly terrain, has small houses and narrow streets between them. It is quite far from the sea: at a distance of at least three kilometers.

Not every tourist will dare to come here because of the remoteness of the sea. Here like to relax tourists with families and people who love privacy in quiet places. Pissouri Beach is a favorite place for bathing tourists from neighboring villas and hotels. It has two recreation areas, which are designed for spontaneous tourists and hotel guests. For the latter, the beach area is equipped with sunbeds and sun umbrellas.

This beach is cozy located in a small bay, has a sand-pebble covering and a rather deep bottom. It's not safe for children to swim here. The beach is regularly cleaned of mud and algae that fall on it after a storm. You can get here by public transport or by taxi. Take the A6 before turning to the beach and then follow the signs.
