Mother's Day

Children are given mornings for mothers.Mother’s Day is a holiday celebrated annually in China on the second Sunday of May.

It is a day of remembrance for mothers, when their labor and selfless sacrifice are paid for the good of their children. On Mother’s Day, Chinese people congratulate their mothers, give them flowers and gifts.

In some cities (for example, in Shanghai), adult children arrange matinee performances for mothers, set a table with abundant food for everyone present.
