Chinese Communist Party Formation Day

Description:

Chinese Communist Party
The Communist Party was founded in 1921 with the assistance of the Comintern in the process of raising the national revolutionary movement and spreading the ideas of Marxism-Leninism in China, caused by the influence of the Great October Socialist Revolution. Li Da-zhao played a prominent role in the creation of the CCP, who organized the first Marxist circles in northern China.

The 1st CPC Congress was held illegally in late June and early July 1921 in Shanghai. He proclaimed the ultimate goal of the party to build socialism in China.

In 1922, at the 2nd Congress of the CPC, the CPC Charter and the Party Manifesto were adopted, which formulated the main immediate task of the CPC - the implementation of the democratic revolution. The Congress decided that the CPC would join the Comintern.

The 3rd Congress of the CPC (1923) approved the course of creating a united national revolutionary front with the Kuomintang, led by Sun Yat-sen, and decided to individually join the CPC members in the Kuomintang while preserving the ideological and organizational independence of the Communist Party.

In recent years, only thematic publications in newspapers and magazines and events organized at the government level have reminded of this holiday, although in the past the anniversary of the founding of the party was celebrated very widely.
