Journalist's Day in China

They are of great value to every person who wants to live his mind.On November 8, 2004, China celebrated Journalist’s Day for the first time.

On this day, a solemn meeting and evening were held in the House of People's Assembly. At the same time, events dedicated to the first festival of journalists were organized in all provinces and autonomous regions.

Journalist’s Day is supplemented by annual professional holidays in China – Nurses’ Day (May 12) and Teacher’s Day (September 10).
