Chaotianmen Square

Chá otiā nm n, Jiang Bei Qu, Chongqing, China

Description:

The name of the Chaotianmen area, where the square of the same name is located, is translated as "Gate" or "Open Skies". This is one of the central areas of Chongqing, located at the very tip of the peninsula at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers. At the berths near the square are cruise boats on which you can go on a river cruise in Eastern China. From the observation deck at Chaotianmen Square, beautiful panoramas open.

The area in which Chaotianmen Square is located can be considered the heart of Chongqing. It was from here that the city began to grow, in ancient times this part was surrounded by a city wall. Now it is a modern area with high-rise buildings of business centers and hotels, fashion shops and souvenir shops. The triangular area at the confluence of the rivers is like the completion of the architectural composition of the area. Due to the proximity of the water here is quite fresh and windy, so the square has become a favorite place to launch kites. On one of the buildings there is a screen equalizer, and on the multi-level embankment fans of colorful spectacles like to gather to watch a laser show.
