Shennunxi Gorge

Many trips to China include a cruise on the famous ancient Yangtze River. As part of the cruise, there is almost always a walk along the Shennong Mountain River on light junk boats or small boats decorated in traditional Chinese style.

In the Shennongxi Gorge, through which the Shennong River flows, tourists will be invited to participate in the Boerlak Show by swimming in a boat driven by human force. Boatmen tow boats with ropes and bamboo poles.

Also in the gorge you can see caves and rocks of bizarre shape, admire the picturesque mountain landscapes. The river here is very fast, with clean and clear water.
