Description:
If you are going to visit Jinan, you should definitely see the three main attractions of this city: the Baotu spring, the Thousand Buddhas mountain and, of course, the Daming Lake Park. This place is also called the Great Light - it is formed from many clean underground springs and is a natural reservoir.
Whether it’s a drought or heavy rainfall, Damin won’t change its water level. In summer, the entire park, with an area of 86,000 square meters, smells of lotuses blooming on a lake of 46,000 square meters. The beautiful landscape is complemented by willows, hanging like brooding girls on three sides of the lake. In the center of Damin you can see a very large fountain, throwing up its waters by 108 m.
Near the lake since 1792 stands the temple of Te Xuan of the Ming dynasty, built in honor of the brave Te Xuan. On the other hand – Baiji temple of the Yuan dynasty.
Marco Polo wrote about this unforgettable place in the XIII century. There was always something to see here, and after the events and celebrations began among the landscapes, even more so.
