Music Square

Zhongshan Square, or Music Square, is located in the trade and financial center of Dalian. The oldest and most beautiful square of the city covers 2 hectares, and its diameter is 168 meters. The square is surrounded by modern buildings, as well as replicas of famous structures, the originals of which are scattered around the world. The musical square is called because at certain hours you can listen to popular musical compositions, and at night the square turns into a whole world of bright light, where the atmosphere of songs and energetic dances reigns.

The musical square is located just a few hundred meters from the Friendship Square and can rightfully claim the title of the historical heart of the city, because in this area there are the oldest buildings, most of which were built in the early twentieth century, when the city was ruled by the Japanese. Today, colonial buildings are harmoniously combined with the modern high-rise buildings that have grown in recent years.
