"Russian Color Street"

The pedestrian street, the oldest in Dalian, was recreated in Dalian in 2000. The street is 400 meters long. On both sides of the street are Russian restaurants and bars, shops, clubs. In addition, such historical monuments as the building of the Shipping Company KVZD (built in 1902) and the "House of Chief Engineer", now the Dalian Engineering and Naval School (1900) are preserved on the street.

The street was built in memory of the Russians, who in 1898 founded the city of Dalniy (now Chinese Dalian). Almost all the buildings on the street (there are 38 of them) are copies of famous buildings in Russia. For example, at the very beginning of the street is a smaller copy of the Museum of History on Red Square.
