The sea is a real treasury full of secrets and mysteries, and the inhabitants of the sea depths are unique and amazing creatures. At the Coral Museum in Dalian, you can make an exciting journey into this mysterious world.
The museum was opened in the Marine Park in May 2003. The exhibition space consists of six parts: an exhibition hall, an “underwater kaleidoscope”, an exposition “Treasures of sunken ships”, a marine laboratory, a scientific gallery, as well as a separate hall for underwater shows. There are more than 200 species of coral and many marine fish, shells, mollusks collected in the southwestern Pacific and other tropical regions.
The main exposition of the Dalian Museum does not present all the exhibits. The collection is much more extensive than what visitors see - the total number of exhibits is about 25,000 units.
