Dalian Zhoushuizi Airport DLC is located in the city of Dialian, located on the Kwantum Peninsula. It is the most important passenger transport point in Northern China. Passenger turnover - up to 7.5 million people per year.
The airport was founded in the mid-thirties of the XX century by the Japanese occupation government of China and was supposed to serve the flights of military aircraft from Tokyo. In 1973, the first civil aviation flight took place here. Dalian Zhoushuizi Airport is formally a military airfield.
In 2011, the only runway was reconstructed and now it meets all international safety requirements. At the same time, construction of a new passenger terminal was completed. Dalian Airport now serves domestic Chinese flights, as well as flights to Korea and the Russian Far East.
