Description:
Mount Fuboshan (a mountain that conquers the waves) is located in the middle of the Lijiang River. At its top is an observation deck with beautiful opening views of the river and its surroundings. Fuboshan is a typical Chinese landscape in the style of shan shui, combining mountain and water landscapes.
It seems that the mountain floats along the river: one part of it is hidden under water, and the other rises above the surface of the waves for about 60 meters. This natural feature explains the meaning of the name of the mountain - the mountain that conquers the waves. At the top of the tourist will lead stone steps.
On the mountain there is a temple in front of which there is a bell of the Qing era weighing 2.5 tons and a 300-year-old cauldron in which you can cook food for 1000 people.
Also in the mountain there are several caves covered with many legends (Coral, Pearl and Thousand Buddhas). The caves contain ancient Buddha statues of the Tang and Song eras, frescoes, self-portraits of the Chinese painter Mi Fu and other legendary ancient monuments of China.
