Description:
The Stalin Park, covering an area of more than 10 square kilometers, stretches along the embankment of the Sungari River near the dam in Khabrin. Today it is the most beautiful park located in the heart of the city. This is one of the most popular places where you can meet thousands of visitors from different parts of the world.
In 1958, a monument was erected in the park dedicated to the people who fought the flood that occurred a year earlier. The monument received a symbolic name – “Winner of the flood”.
At the time when the construction of the Chinese railway was carried out, warehouses were placed on the territory of today's park, and after the Chinese revolution, a park was founded on this place, which was called rather ordinary - Naberezhnaya.
After the death of the leader of the world proletariat, Stalin, the park was renamed and received its current name Stalin Park.
All the architecture in the park is made in the classical Russian style. There is also the famous Russian restaurant "Coastal", which is one of the brightest examples of wooden Russian architecture.
During public holidays, entertainment events are held on the park square for guests and residents of the city.
