26号 Hexing Rd, Xiangfang, Harbin, Heilongjiang, China

Description:

Northeast Forestry University is located in Harbin, China’s Heilongjiang Province. It is a higher education institution conducting research activities and is administered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.

It is one of the largest and most prestigious educational institutions in China.

The university was founded in 1952 as a result of the merger of Zeilang University and the Agricultural College, which is considered the oldest forest education institution in the country.

Harbin is surrounded on all sides by the largest forests in China, under state protection, it is not surprising that it was here that the Forest University was opened.

The territory of the university is located on 136 hectares of land, and is a small campus. There are both educational buildings and research laboratories, and, of course, there were also hostels for students.

In addition, there are several centers for practice - these are two forest farms: Maoershan, located on the territory of the National Park, and another, located in the Liang Shui National Reserve.
