Beijing Aviation Museum

The Aviation Museum is located in the west of Beijing. Here you will get acquainted with popular passenger and military aircraft, helicopters and fighters. For aviation lovers, this museum will be interesting because it is located on a real military base.

During World War II, a military base was located in its place. In memory of her, it was decided to preserve and remodel several runways and a large aviation hangar for museum exhibits.

The Aviation Museum opened in 1989 to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China Air Force.

The museum itself is divided into three parts. In the first part you will get acquainted with the most popular passenger aircraft in the history of aviation. During an exciting tour you will visit the cockpit and sit in passenger seats.

The second and third parts are on two runways. Here you will get acquainted with the world-famous military and cargo aircraft, fighters and helicopters.
