Rafting along the "red gorge" of Wuzhishan Mountain

Located from the city of Sanya 100-150 km. (2-3 hours drive one way). Many Taoist myths are associated with Mount Wuzhishan. Legend has it that the mountain was created by Buddha himself. Another says that under it lies the Chinese literary character Sun Wukong - the king of monkeys. The third legend tells that from this place the hunter chased a deer, which ran to the sea, turned around and appeared Luheitou Park. Most of the rivers of Hainan Island originate in the Wuzhishan Mountains. The descent along the river is carried out without an instructor in a boat designed for 2 people. The length of the river is about 3.8 km. The maximum water level difference is 80 meters. We recommend not to forget your bathing suit.
