Wonders of the Sea and Mountains Park

The park "Wonders of the Sea and Mountains" is located on the seafront, in the tourist area of Hainan Daxiaodutyan - one of the most beautiful and amazing places of the island - and is included in the Nan Shan National Park.
The Taoist Dong Tian Center is located on the territory of the park. The temple complex was founded in the 13th century, it is one of the oldest such structures in the country. For the followers of Taoism, this place is sacred. Pilgrims come here from all over the island to worship the southern dragon, according to legend, living on the shore.
In the park there are many strange caves and stone sculptures. For example, a house surrounded by elaborately carved stone animals, or statues of Chinese celebrities. Here grow pine trees dracaena cambodiana - relic trees, whose age dates back thousands of years and which are considered a symbol of longevity in China.
