Mount Nandi

Adjoining the southern slope of Mount Kailash

Description:

Mount Nandi (or Nanda) adjoins the southern part of Mount Kailash. Nanda is the name of Shiva's bull. Just as Kailash symbolizes Shiva, Nanda symbolizes a bull bowing before its owner.

Nanda is one of the most mysterious sights of Tibet and the world. With its ideal geometric shape, it resembles a sarcophagus, and some researchers believe that the mountain is the work of man, and not a natural creation. According to another theory, this mountain is hollow, that is, nothing is filled inside and could well serve as a repository. There was a large Tibetan library there. On the other, mythological, inside the state of samadhi are the bodies of all the teachers ever sent to the world: Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Muhammad. No one has yet been able to prove all these assumptions. But how to refute them.
