Locomotive park in Girardot

The exhibits of the park-museum show the history of the development of the railway in Colombia.

The museum is located on the territory of the station and was reconstructed from the old railway station.

You can see here the majestic steam engines of the early 20th century, maps of the railway network, as well as details of the rolling stock of trains.

But the main attraction of the park is the impressive locomotive, which was produced in the mid-19th century in Britain, and later used on the railways of Colombia. Now this locomotive is exhibited in the museum in the form of a huge monument.
