International Museum of Emeralds

Bogot & aacute, Colombia

About the company:

The International Museum of Emeralds, located in the Colombian capital, Bogota, was founded at the beginning of the XXI century.

According to its owner and founder, the idea of organizing a permanent exhibition came to him many years ago when he exported emeralds to Europe.

The exposition of the museum contains the largest and rarest stones. The most “weighty” exhibit in the collection is a crystal of 265 carats.

The Emerald Museum consists of three rooms. The first room has an exhibition of stones, the second room is a trading room. The tunnel, where you can go down, introduces visitors to the process of mining and processing of emeralds.
