The Botero Museum is one of the most visited museums in Bogotá. The museum building was provided by the Bank of the Republic of Colombia.
The museum is presented to the city of Fernando Botero, a famous Colombian artist and sculptor. The museum houses more than 200 paintings and sculptures that belong to Botero himself. In addition to the author's works in the museum you can see a personal collection of paintings by such European artists as Picasso, Renoir, Bacon, Dali, who are representatives of impressionism, cubism and other trends in painting.
