Manor-Museum of Sugar Cane Piedecince

To Cali from Bogota in 8 hours by bus on the Pan-American highway or 45 minutes by plane. To the hacienda by car.

About the company:

In the preserved ancient hacienda (manor) Pie de Chinche can see the whole process of growing and processing sugar cane.

The name of the estate comes from the name of the Chinche Indians who lived in these places.

Gacienda consists of 21 ranches, typical of the colony and of old workshops for the transformation of cane into sugar and molasses.

Here you can trace the history of sugar cane processing in the colonial era and learn about the daily life of the slave plantation. It's just like "Slave Isaure."

Here you can try sweets and drinks from cane sugar.
