Feast of the founding of the state in 2333 BC. e.The celebration of the founding of the state in 2333 BC by the legendary king-god Tangun, the son of the heavenly lord and turned into a woman bear, who, they say, founded Ancient Joseon.

A simple ceremony is held on the altar of the summit of Manisan Mountain on Ganghwa-do Island. According to legend, this altar was placed there by Tangun himself in gratitude to his father and grandfather in heaven.
