Rio Agrio Falls

"Bajos del toro" district. "Bull lowland" can rightly be put on the first place in Costa Rica in the number of waterfalls. This area is not large, but there are several dozen waterfalls! The way to some of them passes through the impassable jungle, and therefore you can get there only by crossing the river ford. Such inaccessible waterfalls, for example, include “Vuelta del Cañon”, “Pozo Azul” (“Blue Well”), “Tesoro Escondido” (“Hidden Treasure”). Since Bajos del Toro is located in the central part of the country, away from the ocean, the weather here is always cool. Therefore, not everyone will dare to walk along the cold river even to the most beautiful waterfall. But there is a solution! Despite the name, this place is stunningly beautiful and mysterious. It seems that the head of a dinosaur will appear behind the trees.
