Eco Chontales Falls

Description:

Costa Rica is the land of waterfalls. On a relatively small territory of this country there is such a number of them that we can say for sure - they are not even dozens, but more than a hundred! In this regard, I would like to draw your attention to the area of Perez Zeledon. One of the "diamonds" of Perez Zeledon is the magnificent Eco Chontales. Echo "Chontali" (named one of the Indian peoples). In Nahuatl, Chontali means “alien or wild.” That is, in fact, this name can be translated as “Wild Echo”. Beautiful, isn't it? There are also other uncut diamonds in this area. Such non-tourist locations include, for example, the waterfalls “La Rana Roja”. "Red Frog," "Elysiana," "Diamante" and, of course, "Nauyaca." Therefore, those who love waterfalls will undoubtedly enjoy the area of Perez Zeledon and the excursion to the Eco Chontales waterfall!
