Festival of Lights in Cuba
Description:
Like all good revolutionaries, the people of Santiago know how to celebrate. During the holiday, you can find entertainment for every taste: the performance of traditional musical groups, world dance music, processions with decorated platforms and amusingly dressed dancers, a lot of all sorts of goodies on takeaway trays (pork products are especially popular) and, of course, beer and rum (don’t forget your own glasses). Children can ride on small carts or miniature trains.
The most exotic and spectacular performance, of course, prepare fakirs and all sorts of "masters" of fire. In Cuba these days it is especially great to walk around Santiago at night and watch fire performances, street games with fire, and discos filled with light of burning torches. Each night of the festival ends with a beautiful salute.
