Monument to Sancho Panse
Description:
The monument is an image of the hero Miguel de Cervantes Sancho Panz riding a donkey. It is located in the central part of the capital on Obispo Street, and is quite a popular place to visit among travelers. This monument appeared in Havana in 1993 after it was shown at an international exhibition and won an award there. The characters are shown comically, all the small details are clearly and skillfully worked out.
The attraction is located across the street from the Loma de la Cruz Park, to be more precise from the east of this park (at the intersection with Delicias Street).
