Beaches of Havana Cuba

Beaches (Havana, Cuba) are several popular and most beautiful areas for recreation, especially popular with tourists visiting Liberty Island at almost any time of the year. These include Boca Ciega next to the international diving center, the beach area of Guanabo, Bacuranao, Tropico and Hibacoa, the nine-kilometer sand strip of the main beach of the Havana Riviera “Canta Maria del Mar”, as well as “Guardalavaca” with a beach that has the romantic name “Esmeralda”.

Almost all of the listed beaches are located near the city, which makes them accessible to both locals and numerous guests of Havana. However, in the immediate vicinity of the city there is only one very long beach area called “Santa Maria”, which combines several mini-beaches.
