The Marcelo Salado Sugar Museum

The Sugar Museum "Marcelo Salado" is located 400 meters from the road to Remedios, in the village of Villa Clara. It is one of Cuba’s abandoned sugar factories and is central to the country.

This interesting museum is dedicated to the history of the development of the sugar industry in Cuba, in the permanent exhibition of which various types of plants of the sugar plant, its tools, machines and boilers are presented.

Here you will be able to see several working steam engines and even be able to control some work units and visit the video room where you can watch a documentary.
