Viñales Valley
Description:
The Viñales Valley or Valle de Viñales (Cuba, Pinar del Rio) is a national park located almost two hundred kilometers from Havana, in the suburbs of Pinar del Rio. The pristine nature, the original landscape and the cultural heritage of the colonizers of Spain allowed this attraction to deservedly become one of the World Heritage sites.
The rocky hills of the evergreen valley permeate numerous karst caves with underground rivers and waterfalls with noisy waters. Of particular interest to tourists is simply a huge area of the botanical garden with very rare plants and animals, as well as exotic birds. You can reach the valley by personal transport on the Central de Suba and Autorista Este-Oeste highways, focusing on the city of Sonsolación del Sur.
