About the company:
The Sado House Bedouin Museum and Cultural Foundation is an ethnographic museum in Kuwait dedicated to preserving the culture of Bedouin applied arts. The house is built of plaster and coral, and inside is decorated with beautiful decorative products. The museum was opened in 1980 to protect the interests of the Bedouins and their ethnic handicrafts, the interweaving of the "Garden", which was on the verge of extinction.
"Garden" is the traditional Bedouin art of weaving wool by hand to create magnificent carpets, mats, scarves with patterns of different geometric shapes. At the Garden House, visitors have the opportunity to see Bedouin women interweaving wool right in the museum. By 1984, the Sado House Bedouin Museum and Cultural Foundation had registered 300 Bedouin women who produced approximately seventy items each week.
The museum is divided into several rooms, each of which is decorated with beautiful colorful products, woven hands of Bedouin women. The museum also has a playground where children can play while their mothers examine the Bedouin culture.
