About the company:

The Lao National Museum is located in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. It was originally called the Museum of the Lao Revolution.

The museum was founded in 1925 in a building formerly the residence of the French governor. There are many exhibits that tell about the history of Laos. Special attention is paid to the events that took place during the struggle of the Lao people with foreign occupiers for independence.

The museum presents a collection of archaeological finds dating back to the Bronze and Stone Ages, as well as many historically important documents and photographs. In 2007, the U.S. government provided a grant of $26,821,000 to support and develop the museum.
