Sea Day in Latvia

Symbol of Maritime DaySea Day will be celebrated every year on the second Saturday of July.

This year, residents and guests of Latvia officially celebrated the Day of the Sea for the first time. The police, in turn, worked on the weekend in an enhanced mode.

Recall that the Day of the sea in the calendar appeared due to amendments to the law “On holidays, memorable and celebrated days”, which came into force on June 26.
