Rojou Square

Roger Square is undoubtedly a decoration of the wonderful city of Liepaja. The beautiful streets of this city keep its centuries-old history. The city is over 750 years old.

The heart of Liepaja was precisely Rozhou Square. Translated from Latvian - Rose Square - it is really decorated with an open-air garden, which has about 500 bushes with roses. On the edges of the flowerbed there are commemorative signs of the sister cities of Liepaja, this was done after reconstruction in 2000.

The square is a favorite meeting place for young people, which is not surprising given the romantic mood it creates. It was about her that the famous song of the Latvian rock band “Lī vi” – “Ro u laukums” was written.
