About the company:
Museum "Craftsmen's House" in the Latvian city of Liepaja is located in one of the oldest buildings. It is a classic example of Liepaja residential buildings of the XVII - XVIII centuries. The building was built specifically for burgomaster Joachim Schroeder, where the Swedish king Charles XII stayed for a while. The Museum "Craftsmen's House" exhibits a variety of objects of applied art made by local craftsmen.
The most interesting object of the museum are the world's longest amber beads. In 2003, an action was held in the city, during which everyone could leave a piece of amber. As a result, local residents donated almost 20 kilograms of this material. The string of beads was 123 meters in length and entered the Guinness Book of Records.
