Liepaja Airport
Description:
Liepaja Airport belongs to the transport hubs of the international regional destination of Latvia. Every morning and evening flights to Riga, Copenhagen and Hamburg are organized by airBaltic. As a rule, they are carried out on small Fokker 50 flights, designed for 52 passengers. Airport director Aldis Murnieks plans to add several new regular routes to Helsinki, Stockholm, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Minsk in the near future. For these purposes, work is already underway on the construction of a new temporary terminal, which will comfortably accommodate the increasing cargo traffic.
