Swamp as a fairy tale - Kemer National Park

Remembering the fairy tales of childhood, the first association with swamps is black water, water, leeches, any other filth. Maybe it is, but I want to introduce you to the swamp. Near Riga and near Jurmala is one of the four national parks in Latvia. Its main task is to preserve the biological diversity of plant and animal species, but also mineral water and medicinal peat mud are formed in these swamps. On wooden decking (2.8 km) we will go to the swamps and find out what cranberries look like, a measure or what to try a dowseed. The small growth of the pine creates a representation of something unearthly and mysterious. On the way, we will visit the once famous health resort of Kemeri with a resort park, a lizard buffet and a house where the “motley ribbon” lived. Tour by car and on foot. It is interesting for adults and children.
