Vaduz

Vaduz Cathedral

Sankt Florinsgasse 159490 Vaduz, Liechtenstein

Description:

The place for the church, which later became one of the main attractions of the city, was not chosen by chance. In the Middle Ages in a small Vaduz on this square was an ancient base.

It was decided to devote the building to St. Florin of Remus, revered in these places, who, like Jesus Christ, performed a miracle by turning water into wine.

The cathedral is built in the neo-Gothic style, and harmoniously looks against the background of mountainous terrain and low buildings of Vaduz himself. Now Vaduz Cathedral is the residence of the Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church.
